I consider that taking part in any survey set up by either the UK/Welsh Government and its various NGOs/Authorities to be a utter and a complete waste of my time and effort.

We Porthcawl Environment Trust have fought nearly 14 years for the harbour porpoise their young and their habitat in Swansea Bay.

Scientific evidence has been provided proving that the bay hosts the most important population of these mammals in Welsh Waters.

Result. Swansea Bay not included in the five suggested sites for the harbour porpoise by the Welsh Government.

Why? For political and selfish reasons because they want to designate Swansea Bay as a so called Renewable Energy Zone. DEFRA told us that at a meeting years ago.

Why sign up to the EU Habitat Directive 92/43/EEC, what's the point if they completely ignore the reason for it's existence?

Europe is our last hope, a Formal Complaint will be made to the EU we have one in existence already.

Please include my comments in your final report, I am totally disgusted with the government's actions regarding this issue.
